This position is responsible for maintaining product quality, managing throughput, ensuring accurate inventory tracking, and communicating company standards and expectations to the trim team. The Trimmer Lead plays a critical role in supporting production goals while maintaining compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality standards. This position requires strong leadership, organization, and communication skills. Because the majority of the workforce is Spanish-speaking, fluency in both Spanish and English is required. Applicants who are not proficient in both languages should not apply. Schedule Monday-Friday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM 80 hours every two weeks Occasional overtime as needed Pay Starting wage: $18.00 per hour Leadership position with opportunities for advancement and increased compensation based on performance Duties and Responsibilities Lead, train, and support a team of approximately 14 trimmers. Assign daily tasks and monitor employee performance to ensure production goals are achieved. Maintain high standards for product quality and consistency. Manage throughput and workflow to maximize efficiency while meeting weekly production targets. Ensure compliance with company SOPs, quality standards, and safety requirements. Communicate expectations, procedures, and performance feedback clearly in both English and Spanish. Translate instructions and facilitate communication between management and team members. Monitor and maintain organization and cleanliness within the trim room. Track inventory movements and maintain accurate records throughout the trimming process. Identify and communicate process issues, quality concerns, and opportunities for improvement. Work closely with management to implement new procedures and maintain operational excellence. Promote a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment. Requirements Must be fluent in both Spanish and English (spoken and written). Previous experience in cannabis cultivation, post-harvest operations, manufacturing, food production, or other production environments preferred. Prior leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to uphold company standards and hold team members accountable. Basic computer skills and the ability to maintain production records. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
