PRINCIPAL FUNCTION
Overall responsibility for the supervision of the manufacturing and shipping/receiving operations
RESPONSIBILITIES
(Overview): Comply with Company Policies and Procedures Provide a safe work environment Assign work to employees Ensure employees have tools and supplies to perform their duties Ensure employees are trained to perform assigned duties Instill discipline into manufacturing system to insure policies and procedures are followed Monitor processes to insure productivity and quality standards are being achieved Analyze and resolve processing issues Initiate, manage and support cost savings and product improvement projects Assist with all new product launches IATF Compliance Special projects as assigned
Skills:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) Demonstrated leadership ability Computer literate Familiar with problem solving techniques Good analytical skills Working knowledge of equipment, tooling and processes used in "injection-molding" manufacturing. Self directed. Experienced in manufacturing or technical area required, preferably in plastic injection molding field and/or steel stamping, assembly, industrial. Auto Supplier experience a big plus.
