Job Description

Burnette Foods in Elk Rapids is currently seeking a Line Supervisor $20.00 - $25.00/Hour depending on experience 6:00am - 3:00pm, Full Time, M-F (except for cherries) Line Supervisor Job Summary The Line Supervisor is responsible for ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards. This role monitors workflow, maintains food safety compliance, and ensures production goals are met. Key Responsibilities Ensure production schedules and daily output targets are achieved. Monitor product quality, appearance, weight, and consistency according to company specifications. Enforce food safety, sanitation, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance when necessary. Ensure proper handling, storage, and usage of ingredients and packaging materials. Complete quality records and shift documentation accurately. Investigate and resolve production issues, downtime, or quality concerns. Promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with all safety regulations. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred. 2-5 years of food manufacturing or production experience. Knowledge of food safety standards and GMPs. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Basic computer skills for reporting and production tracking. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Comfortable working in varying temperature conditions common in food production facilities. Ability to bend, reach, push, and pull as required by production activities.
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
