Job Description
A well-established manufacturing organization in the Hillsdale area is seeking a Production Manager to oversee daily production operations, lead supervisory staff, and ensure manufacturing goals are met in a safe, efficient, and high-quality environment. This is a hands-on leadership role within a small but growing production team, ideal for someone who thrives on problem-solving, team development, and driving continuous improvement on the shop floor. Key Responsibilities Oversee Production Supervisors and production personnel Manage and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure quality standards are consistently met or exceeded Train and support employees in safety procedures and manufacturing best practices Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety standards Support troubleshooting and resolution of production and equipment issues Assist in driving continuous improvement initiatives across operations Perform additional duties as assigned by management Qualifications Previous experience in a manufacturing leadership role (Production Supervisor or Production Manager level) Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read and interpret prints/diagrams Ability to troubleshoot production issues in a fast-paced environment Experience in injection molding environments is preferred but not required Strong leadership skills with the ability to positively engage employees at all levels Forklift experience or willingness to be trained Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement What We're Looking For Hands-on leader who is comfortable spending time on the production floor Strong communicator who can effectively manage and support supervisors and production teams Problem-solver who can respond quickly to production challenges Someone who takes ownership and drives results in a team-oriented environment Additional Details Full-time, first shift production environment Leadership role overseeing a small supervisory structure and production team Opportunity to join a stable organization with growth potential
