Full Job Description Job Description:
The Production Foreman/Line Lead is responsible for assisting the line supervisor to coordinate the activities of production workers to ensure efficient and effective manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Train and coach employees to ensure optimal performance and adherence to company standards. Manage the production schedule to meet deadlines and production goals. Set up, operate, and tend to equipment that packages food products, addressing any rework resulting from equipment malfunctions. Clean and sterilize equipment and processing areas to maintain hygiene standards. Maintain inventory management software for accurate tracking of materials. Record production data during quality checks to ensure compliance with standards. Obtain information from relevant sources through observation, data entry, and database management. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Education/Experience/Skills/Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent experience. Experience leading operations teams in a manufacturing plant. Strong leadership and communication skills. Professionalism and a passion for leadership. Experience in food service or manufacturing is a plus.
