This is a union position offering long-term stability, competitive pay, and strong benefits. • This position is for 1st first. Hours are from 10pm to 6am.• This role is ideal for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable leading a small team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do:
Oversee and support a team of 5-10 employees, depending on workload Train employees on basic visual inspections and measurement inspections Ensure quality standards are met by auditing jobs and inspections Review work to confirm procedures are followed correctly Send and respond to basic emails Communicate job details and quality issues with customers Work hands-on inspecting parts on the plant floor and work areas Identify, define, and report all material or quality issues Perform other duties as assigned All necessary training materials are provided.
Work Environment:
Fast-paced manufacturing and plant floor settings May involve exposure to heat, humidity, noise Standing for extended periods and lifting materials may be required First shift
Minimum Requirements:
Strong written and verbal communication skills Reliable transportation Ability to detect and recognize nonidentical parts Ability to follow directions carefully and work independently Comfortable working with minimal supervision and as part of a team Why Join Union Sorters of America?
