We're seeking a hands-on Foreman to lead daily field operations, support production goals, and help maintain a safe and efficient job site. Reporting to the Field Superintendent, this role works alongside crews, coordinates daily activities, and operates equipment as needed.
Project Location:
This position begins with an assignment in Saline, MI , expected to last 2-3 years. Initial onboarding and training will take place in Marshall and Grand Rapids, MI before transitioning to the project site. What You'll Do Lead and support heavy equipment operators and labor crews. Coordinate daily field activities to meet production, quality, and safety goals. Support grinding, material processing, and recovery operations. Assist with scheduling, logistics, and communication between crews and leadership. Monitor equipment and job site conditions to ensure safe, efficient operations. Provide coaching, direction, and accountability to field personnel. Promote compliance with company and site safety requirements. Adapt to changing project needs and assist wherever needed. What We're Looking For Experience operating heavy equipment in construction, demolition, recycling, waste management, forestry, land clearing, site development, or similar industries. Leadership experience as a foreman, lead operator, supervisor, or comparable role. Strong understanding of production-focused field operations and equipment utilization. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Commitment to safety, teamwork, and accountability. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Preferred:
Experience with grinders, shredders, screens, conveyors, or similar equipment. Background in material recovery, recycling, demolition, waste management, or aggregate operations.
