Oversee and synchronize all operations within the mechanical and electrical assembly divisions. Assist in the strategic planning of human and capital resources for both service and assembly functions. Establish standardized manufacturing protocols for assembly and tool production at Persico USA, Inc. to ensure consistency with our global standards. Mentor and guide team leads and supervisors to enhance operational efficiency through the implementation of the plan-do-check-act methodology. Ensure that all work strictly adheres to safety regulations, labor laws, and project-specific technical requirements. Take responsibility for the final approval of assembly equipment and processes, or delegate this authority to qualified personnel. Offer technical insight to help the team identify, analyze, and resolve complex assembly and service challenges. Develop and support initiatives aimed at continuous improvement throughout Persico USA, Inc. Keep abreast of emerging industry trends and advancements to maintain cutting-edge manufacturing knowledge. Collaborate with department supervisors to verify the feasibility of assembly workflows and confirm resource availability. Engage in the review and authorization of manufacturing process plans and project designs. Spearhead the expansion of customer service offerings at Persico USA, Inc. for warranty and post-sale support. Facilitate customer service delivery through effective scheduling, planning, and on-site support visits. Foster team growth by conducting coaching sessions and celebrating collective achievements to boost morale. Track key performance indicators and implement necessary adjustments to meet organizational targets. Execute performance evaluations for direct reports in accordance with established human resources guidelines. Partner with external suppliers to investigate new materials and methods that could elevate our assembly standards. Design comprehensive preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment and coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion. Complete any additional tasks or responsibilities as deemed appropriate for this role. Professional Requirements The following educational and experiential background is required for this position: A technical diploma combined with at least five years of leadership experience within a manufacturing engineering environment. A degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Possession of a P.Eng designation is considered a valuable asset. Holding a PMP certification is viewed as a beneficial qualification. A minimum of five years of relevant professional experience. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite. Experience utilizing MS Project for scheduling. Competency in using MS Visio for documentation. Environment and Physical Demands The work environment for this role is split between a professional office setting and the production shop floor. Daily tasks involve the operation of standard office technology, with the expectation of regular standing and walking while following established ergonomic practices. This position operates under the direct supervision of the Operations Manager.
