SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for the supervision of production Team Members for quality safety and any additional assignments deemed appropriate by management for this position. The individual in this position must work closely with the management team in achieving objectives; accept full accountability assignments and day-to-day department responsibility; must be a team player; Ensure compliance with all human resource and safety policies , food safety, sanitation, and all other duties as determined by management.

Hours:

1:00 PM-11:00 PM; scheduled hours may vary based on business needs and may include weekend shifts.

REQUIREMENTS

Education:

High school diploma or GED.

Experience:

Required:

3+ years of experience in the food manufacturing industry, including 1+ year of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment

Preferred:

Experience in a meat processing facility and knowledge of OSHA, USDA, and HACCP regulations

Communication Skills:

Strong written and verbal communication skills. Bilingual skills helpful.

Computer Skills:

Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, Project and Power Point.

Supervisory Skills:

This person is responsible for supervising a group of team members who perform various production tasks or activities.

Special Skills:

Strong leadership and problem-solving skills; strong work ethic and ability to work with minimal supervision; ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Travel:

Some travel is required. This could be to other facilities or to corporate.
