Job Description

About the Role As a Manufacturing Team Supervisor, you will drive operational excellence by leading assembly, machining, and deburring teams to meet high-volume production targets. You will serve as a technical mentor, ensuring staff are expertly trained in fluid power systems and precision assembly to deliver superior product quality. Responsibilities Oversee daily production workflows, ensuring team output meets rigorous quality and efficiency standards. Provide hands-on coaching and technical training to associates on complex assembly, repair, and testing procedures. Optimize production capacity by strategically assigning tasks based on individual skill sets and team bandwidth. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and Lean manufacturing practices to enhance site performance. Maintain high levels of system accuracy by auditing inventory records and performing transactions within the ERP system. Champion a culture of safety by enforcing strict adherence to operational protocols and equipment maintenance standards. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to resolve component quality issues and streamline project timelines. Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent. 3-5 years of experience in a technical manufacturing or assembly environment. Advanced proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and industrial machinery. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret complex work instructions. Excellent communication skills with a focus on team leadership and accountability. Preferred Skills Prior experience in a supervisory or team lead capacity. Working knowledge of ERP/MRP software systems. Familiarity with Kaizen or Lean manufacturing methodologies. Experience with quality management systems such as AS9100.
