1st Shift Production Supervisor - Manufacturing Operations Immunoassay Diagnostic Instruments Lead. Learn. Travel. Teach. Improve. Your Impact as a Production Supervisor As a Production Supervisor, you will lead the manufacturing assembly of Immunoassay diagnostic instruments, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations. You will play a critical role in driving both short-term execution and long-term business objectives while cultivating a culture of accountability, learning, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Development Lead, coach, and mentor direct reports through regular feedback and performance discussions Support career growth and professional development for team members Ensure effective onboarding and ongoing training on equipment, processes, and standard work Serve as a teacher and role model, reinforcing best practices and operational excellence Production & Process Excellence Oversee daily assembly operations in compliance with FDA QSR, GMP, and ISO standards Apply Lean manufacturing principles (Kaizen, Gemba, 5S, daily management) to improve: Safety Quality Delivery Cost Drive sustainable processes that consistently meet production plans and KPI targets Problem-Solving & Continuous Improvement Lead structured problem-solving efforts using data and Gemba evidence Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement long-term solutions Identify and implement improvements in workflow, equipment performance, and production methods Approve design changes and assess manufacturability for new or improved processes Strategic Execution Set challenging yet achievable goals aligned with business objectives Maintain accurate production records and communicate performance status Build and execute strategic training and organizational plans for the production area Travel & Environment Ability to travel by air up to one week per month to the Miami, FL facility Travel begins at start of employment and is expected through August/September (subject to business needs) Travel is focused on hands-on training, peer collaboration, and knowledge transfer What You Bring High School Diploma + 8 years experience, OR Bachelor's Degree + 5 years experience, OR Master's Degree + 3 years experience Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment Core Skills & Strengths Proven ability to lead and develop production teams Strong communication, coaching, and feedback skills Experience applying Lean manufacturing principles (Kaizen, 5S, Gemba, daily management) Knowledge of FDA, QSR, GMP, and/or ISO requirements Data-driven mindset with experience tracking KPIs and improving processes Track record of building sustainable systems that deliver results Why Join Us? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $100000.00/yr. The annual salary range for this role is $85,000-$100,000 USD. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
