As we continue to scale operations and transition into a new production facility, we're looking for motivated individuals to join our production team and grow with us. Position Overview The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading day-to-day operations within the Fit Butters production facility. This role ensures that production lines run safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality and food safety standards. The ideal candidate is an experienced, hands-on leader who can motivate a team, manage production flow, and maintain a high standard of excellence across all aspects of manufacturing. Key Responsibilities Production Operations Accurately weigh and measure ingredients according to production specifications. Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot basic food manufacturing equipment to ensure consistent output. Disassemble, wash, rinse, and sanitize equipment in accordance with sanitation procedures and safety standards. Participate in production line operations, including topping jars, capping jars, packing cases, and palletizing finished goods . Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary production environment at all times. Leadership & Team Management Direct and supervise production line associates to ensure daily goals and standards are met. Provide clear communication, training, and guidance to team members. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment focused on safety, quality, and efficiency. Monitor team performance and ensure adherence to company policies and expectations. Quality, Food Safety & Compliance Understand, execute, and maintain the facility's HACCP plan and related food safety documentation . Conduct and oversee safety and equipment checks , ensuring all production activities meet regulatory and internal compliance standards. Participate in ongoing process monitoring and documentation to ensure product consistency and traceability. Operational Efficiency Control and manage the manufacturing line , ensuring production schedules and efficiency goals are achieved. Track and record production metrics using basic computer systems and software. Identify opportunities for process improvements and communicate them to management. Operate a forklift safely and efficiently (training provided). Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or college education preferred. 2+ years of experience in food production or manufacturing leadership. Strong understanding of food safety practices and HACCP principles . Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills . Ability to multitask and stay focused in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, production tracking systems, etc.). Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Forklift experience a plus (training provided if needed).
