Monday-Thursday | 3:00 PM - 2:30 AM Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Group Lead to support manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment. This position plays a key role in coordinating production activities, supporting operators, ensuring quality standards are met, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with experience supporting manufacturing teams in regulated environments. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Assist in coordinating production activities within assigned work areas to ensure products are processed according to build schedules Communicate work instructions to personnel based on supervisory objectives Ensure production and quality goals are consistently achieved Conduct regular process and quality audits of personnel, tooling, and equipment Notify supervisors and appropriate personnel regarding equipment failures or operational issues Monitor work-in-process inventory status and daily output quantities Assist with training manufacturing operators and provide retraining support when needed Provide feedback regarding defects and process improvement opportunities Support expedited production priorities and urgent manufacturing tasks Perform inspection and disposition of rejected components per required documentation Support direct manufacturing operations as needed to meet production schedules Maintain awareness of regulatory requirements, industry trends, company products, and operational objectives Coordinate purchase requests for equipment and services Resolve manufacturing and operational issues while identifying root causes to prevent recurrence Lead daily meetings with manufacturing operators to promote communication and continuous improvement Ensure preventive maintenance (PM) and calibration stickers remain current and compliant Conduct 5S audits and participate in weekly value stream group lead meetings Perform BBSP observations and assist employees with training and Employee Self Service (ESS) needs Support company initiatives related to Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and regulatory compliance Maintain compliance with FDA regulations, company policies, procedures, and operating standards Foster positive communication and collaboration across all levels of the organization Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned Qualifications Previous experience in manufacturing leadership, production coordination, or group lead roles preferred Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills Experience working in regulated manufacturing environments preferred Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of quality systems, audits, and continuous improvement practices Familiarity with FDA-regulated environments is a plus Ability to support and train manufacturing personnel effectively
