Full Job Description Summary:

The Area Lead is a non-advising technical focused position, responsible for leading a specific sub-area within an area (i.e.410,450,500 building) on a shift.

The sub-areas include:

auxiliary press support, catching/rewind, and finishing/assembly. This position is a technical expert in their area responsible for training, troubleshooting, and supporting development of associates. Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Train, troubleshoot, monitor, and assist associates working in their area of responsibility. Support GDP/GMP compliance and training leading to improved job closings. Provide technical support and training to multiple technician teams within the same shift. Coaching and Continuous Improvement. Lead and coach technicians. Back up to the Technician Supervisor. Suggest and execute improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. Work on jobs.

Accountabilities:

Accountable for training, troubleshooting, and monitoring team members to support manufacturing goals in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. Support development process as needed through manufacturing transfer. Support the development of associates. Training/Education/Experience 2+ years of leading others in a manufacturing environment. 3+ years manufacturing experience, 2-year medical manufacturing preferred. Lean Practitioner Certification preferred. Proficient PC skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook Understanding of a GMP/GDP compliance environment
