Role:

We're a growing metal fabrication and steel manufacturing company with two locations and over 50 employees. Known for our commitment to craftsmanship and continuous improvement, we're also investing in innovation and automation — including advancements in robotic fabrication and process technology. We're seeking a hands-on Operations & Quality Manager to help improve efficiency, quality, and communication across the company. This position works under the direction of the President and in close coordination with the Fabrication Process Manager and Shop Foreman to ensure that production, scheduling, safety, and quality all run smoothly and align with company standards.

Responsibilities:

Support the President's vision by organizing and managing daily operations Coordinate between the office, shop, and project management teams Oversee processes, procedures, quality control, and job flow Monitor budgets, job costing, and scheduling Enforce safety, discipline, and performance expectations Work closely with HR, Safety, and department leads to maintain consistency Drive accountability, communication, and continuous improvement Support and implement technology, ERP, and automation initiatives to modernize operations

Qualifications:

5+ years in metal fabrication or steel manufacturing operations Strong leadership and organizational skills Knowledge of fabrication processes, scheduling, and quality standards Understanding of budgeting, job costing, and process control Experience with ERP or production tracking systems Comfortable adopting and improving technology and automation tools Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
