Production Supervisor Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor to lead safety, quality, and productivity initiatives within our manufacturing environment. This role requires a focus on lean manufacturing principles and a drive for results, ensuring standardized work processes are followed. Responsibilities Coach team members on safety, quality, and productivity standards to meet objectives. Implement and oversee lean manufacturing processes. Manage weekly payroll and ensure timely payment to employees. Collaborate with UAW employees to monitor and optimize production. Essential Skills Experience in production supervision and assembly. Proficiency in safety protocols and production management. Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies, including Six Sigma and lean manufacturing. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma is required. Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends. Flexibility to work heavy hours, ranging from 60-70 hours per week. Flexibility to work day, mid, and overnight shifts is essential. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kansas City, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
