Job Description

Production Supervisor Location:
Springfield, MO Area (Onsite)
Shift:
2nd Shift (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM) Overtime likely before/after shift and on weekends (primarily Saturdays; Sundays as needed) May require support 2 hours before or after shift start •
Work Authorization:
Visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future•
PPE Requirements:
Safety shoes with metatarsal protection required on Day 1. Additional PPE required as needed.
Pay Rate:
$44.00 - $46.00/hour Position Overview The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading production employees in manufacturing and/or warehouse operations to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals. This role provides leadership, guidance, and accountability while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining a high-integrity work environment. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily production and/or warehouse operations to meet departmental and organizational goals Foster an inclusive and communicative team environment with regular feedback and guidance Support onboarding, training, and development of production employees Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency Monitor quality control plans and troubleshoot production issues Ensure compliance with safety programs, policies, and housekeeping standards Align staffing and production priorities with schedule demands and customer delivery timelines Administer employee policies, procedures, and performance expectations Track and manage performance metrics including productivity, quality, and budget targets Required Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Experience with data management and reporting Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Working knowledge of
SAP Understanding of:
Manufacturing and/or distribution processes Quality systems and preventive maintenance Lean Manufacturing, Just-in-Time (JIT), Kanban, and production systems Ability to work cross-functionally across areas such as manufacturing, operations, supply chain, or engineering Strong team collaboration and accountability mindset Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of team leadership or supervisory experience 2+ years of manufacturing or production environment experience Experience with project management (planning, resource coordination, execution)
Education Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Manufacturing Technology, Engineering , or related field Associate's degree accepted High School Diploma/GED with relevant experience considered Core Competencies Driving Sustainable Results Communicating with Impact Leading Change Engaging & Inspiring Others Operating Inclusively Across Teams #LI-MH1 #INDOEM
