Responsibilities:
As a Production Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include: 1. Leading, coaching, and developing production associates to promote accountability, engagement, and strong performance. You will be responsible for fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and continuous improvement. 2. Monitoring key production metrics such as yield, scrap, uptime, takt, and labor efficiency. You will be expected to identify and address performance gaps, implementing corrective actions as necessary to ensure optimal productivity. 3. Driving continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing and problem-solving tools. You will play a key role in identifying opportunities for process improvements and leading the implementation of these initiatives. 4. Supporting new product introductions, process changes, and equipment launches. You will work closely with other departments to ensure a smooth transition and successful launch of new products and processes.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Production Supervisor role, you will need the following: 1-3+ years of experience in a production supervisory role. Proven experience leading, coaching, and developing a team. Knowledge of key production metrics and the ability to monitor and improve these metrics. Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing and problem-solving tools (preferred). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.
