Focus:
The Production Supervisor is responsible for managing daily operations within the production unit, ensuring that production targets and schedules are met. This includes monitoring workflow and adjusting processes as necessary to optimize output and efficiency while adhering to safety, quality, and company processes and procedures.
Production Supervisor Essential Job Functions:
Maintain a safe and clean work environment through education and training personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources, and maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures. Provide manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data, answering questions, and responding to requests from senior leadership. Ensure compliance with safety program, training requirements, and exercise positive leadership to motivate and build a team environment. Work closely with manufacturing, quality, and engineering to control product and process improvements and modifications. Administer employee recognition and corrective actions; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
Production Supervisor Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred. Minimum of 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, supervision/leadership experience preferred. Experience in SAP and KRONOS preferred. Military experience preferred. Process Safety Management experience preferred. Ability and willingness to work day shift, including overtime, to support 24/7 operations. Prior Winchester experience preferred.
Location-Specific Requirements:
This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.
