Job Description

  • Jacquard Weaver Supervisor
  • Adecco is partnering with a leading textile manufacturing organization to identify a Jacquard Weaver Supervisor who will play a critical role in overseeing weaving operations, driving production efficiency, and ensuring quality standards across the department. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily operations of Jacquard weaving machines to ensure production targets, efficiency, and quality standards are met.
Lead, train, and support weaving technicians, ensuring proper machine operation, troubleshooting, and adherence to processes. Oversee loom setup, including creel loading, tie-ins, beam changes, and pattern adjustments to meet production specifications. Monitor machine performance, yarn quality, and fabric output to identify defects such as loose yarn, missing filaments, or pattern inconsistencies. Ensure proper order entry and adjustments in systems, including beam numbers, tension settings, and production requirements. Coordinate workflow to maintain appropriate machine speeds based on yarn type and order specifications. Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues, including reed changes, press roller adjustments, and machine malfunctions. Verify proper handling of beams, including loading, doffing, labeling, and staging for production use. Review production output and address downtime, inefficiencies, and material issues in real time. Communicate shift updates, production challenges, and maintenance needs to leadership and cross-functional teams. Enforce safety standards, ensuring proper PPE usage and safe handling of equipment, including compressed air systems. Maintain clean, organized work areas and ensure end-of-shift housekeeping standards are met. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve machine uptime. Perform other duties as assigned to support production and operational goals.
  • Qualifications:
  • Experience operating and troubleshooting Jacquard weaving machines required.
Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a textile or manufacturing environment strongly preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues. Knowledge of weaving processes, yarn types, and fabric quality standards. Ability to read and interpret production orders, technical specifications, and patterns. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills. Effective communication skills with the ability to lead and coach teams. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment. Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

  • Pay Details:
  • $15.
