Production Supervisor - 7am - 7pm

Tasks and Responsibilities:

The Production Supervisor oversees and supervises all activities related to the manufacturing. The responsibilities include but are not limited to: Effectively manage and lead a team of approximately 30 production employees to meet daily production, quality and safety goals. Assign work to meet daily manufacturing requirements Organize and facilitate work team meetings (pre-shift, roundtables, etc.) Solve daily operational issues Prepare daily shift reports Control labor and material usage to meet or improve costs Coordinate workflow with Production Control Coach and provide consistent application of employee relation policies. Review and coach employees in accordance with plant goals. Utilize timekeeping and HR systems for accurate accounting of work hours and job related data for his/her team. Maintain a commitment to safety in all aspects of the job. Administers and enforces health, environmental and safety standards, work practices and housekeeping policies and procedures.

Education and Experience:

High School diploma with at least one year supervisory experience in manufacturing environment Must be able to work overtime as needed Knowledge of performance management tools Proficiency in MS Office Excellent reporting skills, both verbal and written Personal skills: Mission-focused Excellent people management skills Customer and service oriented Excellent organizational and communication skills Demonstrates the ability to react quickly to daily demand changes Fast learner with sharp analytical skills Able to work in a team, as a team
