Position Summary:
The Plant Foreman is an on-site, hands-on leadership role at our locations. This role is responsible for managing the plant's production running it efficiently and safely. The Plant Foreman is also responsible for managing their team day to day based on production and downtime reports to maximize efficiency and meet production goals. This role is a key communicator with other areas of the operation like the pit and the shop in order to help production run smoothly. This is a great position for someone who likes leading a team, problem-solving on the spot, and meeting or exceeding goals.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
- Must have a track-record of being a dependable employee
- Strong communication skills
- able to collaborate and strategize with pit and shop personnel as needed
- Demonstrated ability to manage team of plant personnel with varying skill sets and experience levels
- Goal oriented and track record of achieving results
- Experience with scheduling, training, and cross-training individuals on a variety of plant related tasks
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee all areas of the plant's production including plant set-up, production goals, gradations, and performing regular maintenance tasks
- Lead and manage a team of employees to perform plant production and maintenance tasks
- Use hourly system tracking to plan routine maintenance tasks
- such as liner changes
- Create and analyzing production and downtime reports
- Work with site superintendent and area manager to plan effective production
