Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

 Monday-Friday | 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM $10,000 Sign on Bonus! Make an Impact Where It Matters Most We're looking for a driven Production Supervisor to lead 2nd‑shift manufacturing operations and make a real difference on the production floor. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who enjoys being visible, solving problems in real time, and helping teams succeed. As a working supervisor, you'll guide production employees to safely hit quality, delivery, and efficiency goals while continuously improving processes and building a strong, accountable team. If you thrive in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and lead from the front, this role is for you. What You'll Do Lead all production activities on your assigned shift to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets Plan and assign work to maximize labor, equipment, and material utilization Serve as a strong safety champion by enforcing policies and proactively resolving unsafe conditions Track and analyze production metrics including output, scrap, downtime, and labor efficiency Train, coach, and mentor production employees through regular feedback and performance conversations Address employee relations matters consistent with company policy Complete accurate shift reports, timekeeping, and system transactions Partner closely with Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, EHS, Warehouse, and HR to support operations Lead and participate in Lean, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives Maintain high standards for housekeeping, organization, and workplace discipline Develop cross‑training plans and build future leaders within the team Learn and demonstrate proficiency on all production equipment within six months Operate equipment and provide break relief as needed Perform other duties as assigned to support operational success How You'll Fit In Reporting to: Operations Manager / Maintenance ManagerYou'll lead: Lead Operators and Production EmployeesYou'll collaborate with: 
Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, EHS, Warehouse, and HR What We're Looking For Education:
Associate degree preferred, or equivalent manufacturing experience
Experience:
3-5 years in a manufacturing environment with leadership exposure
Skills & Strengths:
Confident, hands‑on leadership and clear communication Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and Lean principles Effective problem‑solving and decision‑making skills Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with computer systems Ability to manage priorities and lead in a fast‑paced environment Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs Regular, active presence on the production floor Why This Role Matters This position plays a key role in daily operations and long‑term improvement.
