The Opportunity We are seeking a Production Manager to lead flavor manufacturing operations with a strong focus on safety, quality, and operational excellence . This role oversees production, materials management, and distribution—driving performance, efficiency, and continuous improvement across the operation. What You'll Do Lead and develop production and materials teams in a 24/5, three-shift environment, promoting safety excellence, operational efficiency, and effective change leadership, including rotational Saturday coverage as needed. Drive on-time delivery and alignment with customer requirements Develop effective partnerships cross-functionally (Procurement, Planning, Quality, EHS) to optimize operations Champion Lean Manufacturing (Kaizen, 5S) and continuous improvement initiatives such as operator and leader standard work Oversee inventory accuracy, storage optimization, and capacity planning Monitor and communicate KPIs to leadership and teams, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions to improve performance What You Bring A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in manufacturing/chemical operations; prior flavor and/or fragrance manufacturing is highly preferred. Experience of managing a team of 40+. Proven leadership experience in production and materials management Strong knowledge of inventory systems (SAP preferred) & MS Office Suite Experience driving change management and safety culture , ideally with experience of high hazard chemicals/ PSM environment.
