Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Custom Cabinet Shop Foreman to lead our cabinetry manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will oversee daily shop operations, coordinate fabrication and installation processes, and ensure projects meet quality standards and deadlines. Your leadership will drive efficiency, safety, and craftsmanship in a fast-paced environment dedicated to creating high-quality custom cabinetry for residential and commercial clients. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all aspects of cabinet fabrication, assembly, and installation within the shop and on-site projects. Lead a team of carpenters, fabricators, and installers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure high-quality workmanship. Review blueprints, schematics, and detailed drawings to accurately interpret project specifications and ensure precise execution. Manage workflow schedules to meet project deadlines while maintaining safety standards across all operations. Oversee the use of hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and heavy equipment to facilitate efficient fabrication processes. Conduct quality control inspections on finished products to ensure they meet design specifications and industry standards. Collaborate with project managers, clients, and suppliers to coordinate material procurement, delivery schedules, and project timelines. Requirements Proven experience in construction estimating, trim carpentry, frame carpentry, and cabinetry installation. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, metal stud framing, drywall finishing (plastering/stucco), flooring installation, tile laying, roofing, masonry, plumbing, electrical work, and other related construction trades. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools (including CNC machinery), scaffolding systems, rebar installation equipment, caulking guns, and other fabrication tools. Demonstrated ability to lead teams on construction sites with extensive experience in water damage restoration or restoration industry preferred. Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and OSHA regulations; ability to enforce safety practices consistently. Experience with metal stud framing, fixture installation (doors/hardware), remodeling projects, siding applications (vinyl or fiber cement), mold remediation techniques or water damage restoration is advantageous. Ability to read technical schematics and schematics for electrical or plumbing systems; experience with CNC or manufacturing processes is a plus. Physical capacity for heavy lifting; comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces; excellent problem-solving skills in dynamic environments.
