Manufacturing, quality, and warehouse work in synchrony, holding ourselves to uncompromising standards. We operate on Lean Manufacturing principles, prioritize First Pass Quality, and actively invest in staff development. This is a small, focused group passionate about precision, accountability, and growth. The Supervisor reports to the Plant Manager is required to have experience in manufacturing, packaging or warehousing environments. This position is in a fast-paced environment and requires the ability to solve problems and strives to constantly increase efficiencies.
Responsibilities:
Ensures the team follows SOPs and GMPs Coaches and trains employees to assure consistent performance and exemplary service Supports, encourages, and complies with all company policies and procedures Communicates the long-term vision, sets the daily morale of the team and leads by example Maintains the flow of processes and makes suggestions for efficiency within the organization Monitors all equipment and ensures timely repairs Advises, trains, and instructs associates in all aspects of work and in the safe operation of the equipment and machinery necessary for their position Works hands-on with associates to ensure products are produced to satisfaction of all policies and procedures Assigns tasks and schedules priorities to achieve the greatest production with the best efficiency Facilitates communication with vendors, associates, and managers for successful collaboration and accountability Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must comply with GMP requirements; specific functions and documents will be discussed in GMP and on the job training Be organized, able to multi-task and prioritize Possess knowledge and experience of supervisory practices and principles Have 5 or more years of experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment (required) Have experience with FDA and GMP regulated industries Possess excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and embrace change Be customer/ associate focused and result driven Proactively make sound decisions with excellent discretion Work additional shifts beyond the regular work week as required to support the needs of the company
