Manufacturing Floor Lead Maverick Tech Reno, NV Job Details Full-time $31.97 - $42.31 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Computer operation Microsoft Outlook English High school diploma or GED Manufacturing facility Manufacturing company experience Full Job Description About the Role As a Manufacturing Floor Lead, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring that safety, quality, and production efficiency targets are consistently met. You will play a critical role in coaching your team, optimizing machine performance, and maintaining a high-standard, organized work environment to drive operational excellence. Responsibilities Enforce rigorous safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures and PPE compliance, to maintain a secure work environment. Direct daily production workflows, ensuring machines are properly adjusted and manned to meet output schedules and quality standards. Implement 6S methodologies to keep the production floor clean, organized, and efficient. Manage labor resources, including scheduling breaks, tracking attendance, and overseeing payroll accuracy through timekeeping software. Facilitate team development by providing hands-on training, performance feedback, and coaching to ensure staff are equipped to meet company objectives. Analyze production data and downtime records to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions that reduce waste and improve cost-efficiency. Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, grievances, and disciplinary matters, collaborating with HR to ensure policy adherence. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and basic computer troubleshooting. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Preferred Skills Proven track record in team leadership, coaching, or personnel management. Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and food safety standards. Experience with labor agreements and conflict resolution. Ability to adapt to fluctuating production demands and varying environmental conditions.
