Job Description

Join the Cell Manufacturing Production team as a Production Supervisor, leading Associates and Leads in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve production goals, ensure quality, and drive continuous improvement. Oversee a mixed-skill production workforce, including technically skilled Manufacturing Technicians responsible for complex mixing and coating processes, providing appropriate guidance and accountability across all skill levels Collaborate with engineering to enhance manufacturability and productivity Develop training programs and support team member growth Oversee issue resolution and maintain quality standards Develop and uphold standardized Manufacturing Instructions Ensure safety and compliance, promoting continuous improvement Tesla people leaders are responsible for a variety of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) assurance functions, including ensuring their teams' safety training is current, documenting EHS incidents, proactively correcting workplace hazards in the areas, and empowering others to continuously improve operations 3+ years managing teams in high-volume manufacturing (safety protocols, troubleshooting, quality control) Experience in team selection and development Proficiency in managing production performance metrics (inventory management, lean manufacturing, project management, SOPs) Strong organizational and communication skills Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends Travel is required for this role, for training purposes Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal
