Job Description

Job Summary The Demolition Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating demolition projects, ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry regulations. This role requires strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of demolition processes, as well as the ability to manage a team of workers effectively. The Demolition Supervisor will also be involved in planning, execution, and quality control of demolition activities. Duties Supervise and manage demolition crews on-site to ensure adherence to safety protocols and project specifications. Develop and implement demolition plans, including timelines and resource allocation. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to coordinate project activities. Train team members on proper demolition techniques and safety practices. Maintain accurate records of project progress, incidents, and equipment usage. Ensure that all necessary permits are obtained prior to commencing work. Oversee the proper disposal of materials in accordance with environmental regulations. Skills The ideal candidate will possess a combination of the following skills: Proficiency in caulking, electrical work, roofing, masonry, plumbing, cabinet installation, hand tools usage, blueprint reading, flooring installation, and concrete finishing. Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to effectively direct a team. In-depth knowledge of safety regulations related to demolition work. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Problem-solving skills to address challenges that arise during demolition projects. Attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship. Physical stamina and strength for working in demanding environments. This position is essential for ensuring that demolition projects are executed smoothly while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.
