Full Job Description Description:
We are looking to hire a Beverage Production Manager to oversee all aspects of beverage manufacturing to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. This role manages day-to-day plant operations, production staff, oversees equipment and facility maintenance, and ensures compliance with safety and quality standards. The manager works closely with quality control, supply chain, and leadership teams to meet production goals and maintain smooth operations. Manage daily beverage production activities to meet output, quality, and safety targets. Manage and a schedule a small production staff, ensuring proper training, performance, and adherence to company standards. Monitor production lines, troubleshoot operational issues, coordinate facility maintenance repairs or preventive maintenance. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and industry certifications (e.g., HACCP, FDA, USDA, SQF, PCQI). Oversee inventory of raw materials, ingredients, and packaging; coordinate with procurement to avoid shortages or delays. Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) across all production areas. Collaborate with production staff and service division to uphold product specifications, conduct inspections, and resolve quality deviations. Maintain accurate production records, batch documentation, and regulatory paperwork. Enforce safety policies and promote a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. Support new product launches, equipment upgrades, and process improvement initiatives. Assist with budget planning and cost-control strategies. Maintain accurate records of production, downtime and quality checks. Foster a culture of safety, teamwork and continued improvement. Ability to lift up to 70lbs. on occasion. Ability to communicate effectively in small group settings. Other tasks and duties as needed.
Requirements:
Understanding of food safety regulations, GMPs, HACCP, and quality systems. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with production software, Microsoft Office, and inventory systems. Strong communication and decision-making abilities. Supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing environment, required. Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Manufacturing, Business Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3-5+ years of experience in beverage or food manufacturing, with strong knowledge of production processes.
