Job Description:
SelectOne is partnering with a long-standing Western NY food manufacturer with over 100 years of history in the Buffalo market to hire a Production / Operations Lead for their USDA-regulated facility. This is a hands-on production floor leadership role focused on helping oversee day-to-day operations, supporting production employees, and maintaining an efficient manufacturing environment. The company is looking for someone who leads by example, enjoys being visible on the floor, and can help drive accountability, consistency, and production flow.
Key Responsibilities:
Support daily production operations including processing, packaging, and fulfillment Help coordinate workflow and maintain production schedules Lead, train, and support hourly production employees Maintain quality, sanitation, food safety, and USDA compliance standards Monitor waste, yields, and general production efficiency Assist with process improvements and operational organization Work closely with ownership and leadership as the company continues to grow
Qualifications:
Experience within food manufacturing, meat processing, or a related production environment Prior leadership or supervisory experience within manufacturing or production operations Strong work ethic with a hands-on management style Ability to operate in a fast-paced production environment Familiarity with USDA, HACCP, sanitation, or food safety standards is preferred
