Job Description:

The successful Production Supervisor incumbent will have the opportunity to join an international and growing company in the industrial automation and robotics sector. This position is responsible for supervising the production team and ensures that the products are assembled correctly, on time and within budget, which ultimately impacts the revenue and overall profitability of the company. This position also supervises the shipping department and inventory. Hours for this role are 7:00am

• 4:00pm, Monday through Friday.

This position requires 100% onsite presence at our US headquarters in Glenville, NY.

Pay Range:

$31.25 an hour

• $38.45 an hour ($65,000
• 80,000 per year) depending on experience.

FLSA Status:

Hourly Nonexempt.

Responsibilities:

Provides day-to-day leadership and direct supervision to manufacturing operations through planning, organization, and allocation of resources (including labor and materials) to impact metrics of the organization. o Setting production schedules and capacity plans. o Troubleshoots immediate and long-term production issues. Leads and develops team members to own the success of the business and contributes to continuous improvement in areas of safety, quality, cost, and productivity etc. Works on production floor to prioritize assembly, Incoming QC, Outgoing QC, and shipping schedule. o Improves labor time / cost efficiency. o Ensures that production targets and related metrics are met and communicated to leadership. Acts as a member of the production team as needed; will cover all areas including shipping. Communicates deliverables, delays, and underlying issues to relevant departments that may impact production and shipments; resolves issues in a timely and efficient manner. Supervises manufacturing operators and technicians

• including but not limited to attendance, and performance.

Ensures that the ongoing training of all production employees is current and meets standards. Works with Engineering, Sales, Production, and Purchasing to improve processes. Assists with recruitment / hiring, monitors, and completes the training process for new hires, as well as internal promotions/moves. Provides feedback on expectations and performance to production/shipping team members on a regular basis; completes timely performance reviews. Ensures quality standards are met. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment, including but not limited to supervision of employees..
• Familiar with Lean Manufacturing concepts/principles and

ISO 9001

certification process

• Knowledge of industrial robots, machinery, electronics, manufacturing, quality control, and shipping and receiving preferred.
