Job Description

Lead and supervise the Tooling team, providing guidance, support, and performance oversight. Plan, coordinate, and execute all tooling changes to support production requirements. Develop, maintain, and monitor preventive maintenance schedules for tooling and related equipment. Track, analyze, and drive corrective actions for predictive maintenance and tooling performance issues. Manage tooling inventory levels to ensure availability and operational efficiency. Coordinate and implement tooling solutions, including fixtures and end-of-arm tooling (EOAT) requirements. Support continuous improvement initiatives and special projects related to tooling operations. Maintain accurate shift logs and ensure effective communication across shifts. Promote compliance with company standards related to quality, environmental management, health and safety, and data security. Ensure team members understand and fulfill their responsibilities regarding product quality, workplace safety, environmental impact, and information security. Foster a culture of continuous improvement through training, coaching, knowledge sharing, and ongoing professional development. Apply and maintain knowledge of Customer Specific Requirements (CSR) through training, work experience, or a combination of both. Minimum 5 years of experience maintaining injection, compression, and blow molding equipment in the plastics industry. Previous experience supervising or leading maintenance/tooling personnel in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of tooling, molds, fixtures, and end-of-arm tooling (EOAT). Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve tooling and equipment issues efficiently. Knowledge of mold changeovers and tooling optimization to minimize downtime. Experience managing tooling inventory and spare parts. Understanding of quality systems and Customer Specific Requirements (CSR). Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
