This position supports daily production activities while developing the skills necessary to transition into a Production Supervisor role within approximately 12 months. This role serves as the primary support resource for production coordination, training, quality oversight, and continuous improvement initiatives while continuing to participate directly in assembly and manufacturing operations.
  • Key Responsibilities Production & Assembly
  • Perform assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and inspection of products in accordance with work instructions and quality standards
  • Assist with complex builds, product validation, and process verification
  • Help maintain production flow and daily output targets
  • Identify and communicate material shortages, process issues, or quality concerns Team Leadership & Support
  • Provide day-to-day support and guidance to assemblers
  • Assist with training and onboarding of new employees
  • Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment
  • Help reinforce safety, quality, and production expectations
  • Serve as a communication link between production employees and management Quality & Process Improvement
  • Support inspection, testing, and documentation activities
  • Assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions
  • Help improve work instructions, organization, and manufacturing processes
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, and consistency Supervisor Development
  • Learn production scheduling and labor coordination
  • Assist with production planning and workflow prioritization
  • Develop leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Participate in management and operational meetings as appropriate
  • Prepare to assume increased supervisory responsibilities over time Qualifications Required
  • Minimum 3 years of manufacturing or assembly experience
  • Strong mechanical and/or technical aptitude
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Positive attitude with strong dependability and work ethic
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management
  • Ability to work independently and support team productivity Preferred
  • Experience training or mentoring employees
  • Experience with quality inspection or manufacturing documentation
  • Prior leadership, lead, or coordinator experience
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, inventory systems, or production tracking
  • Electronics assembly or troubleshooting experience
  • Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to use hand tools, testing equipment, and assembly fixtures
