Job Description
Overview Ignite your leadership skills as a 1st Shift Production Supervisor in a dynamic manufacturing environment! In this vital role, you will oversee daily production operations ensuring that manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently and safely. Your expertise will help coordinate assembly activities, manage team members and uphold quality standards across the factory floor. Join us to lead a motivated team, optimize workflows and contribute to the success of a thriving manufacturing facility. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily production activities on the factory floor Maintain quality standards Oversee assembly operations, providing guidance and support to team members to meet production targets Monitor inventory levels within the warehouse area and coordinate with logistics to ensure timely material supply Conduct regular safety inspections, enforce safety protocols and promote a culture of safety awareness among staff Train all employees on assembly techniques and equipment operation Maintain accurate production records, shift reports and incident logs to ensure seamless communication across teams
- Timely completion of payroll activities for the department, including labor entry
- Interview/ hire applicants for department
- Participate in setting production rates Requirements Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team of production employees Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility or factory environment in a hands-on light production environment Familiarity with manufacturing processes and quality control standards Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects safely, and perform physically demanding tasks Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors • Effective time management skills while coordinating multiple responsibilities • Detail orientated • Ability to coach/train/mentor others • Computer Skills - Microsoft Suite, MRP experience preferred • Strong Math Skills Join us as a Production Supervisor where your strong organizational and leadership skills will drive operational excellence!
