You will be responsible for ensuring trainees can perform the work safely, accurately, and at the pace required to meet production goals. You'll be actively involved on the floor, coaching and working alongside employees until they can consistently meet CHB's expectations for quality and efficiency. What You'll Do Train new and existing employees directly on the production floor Demonstrate proper construction techniques through hands-on instruction Work side-by-side with trainees while they learn and perform tasks Ensure employees can complete work both correctly and within established production timelines Coach team members on efficiency, productivity, quality, and safety Provide real-time feedback and corrective instruction as needed Partner with supervisors and production leadership to identify skill gaps and training opportunities Support onboarding efforts and help new hires become productive team members quickly Reinforce standard operating procedures and best practices across all departments What We're Looking For 3+ years of hands-on experience in construction, manufacturing, or skilled trades Strong background in carpentry, framing, drywall, finishing, or related construction disciplines Experience leading crews, mentoring employees, or training others Ability to effectively teach and coach employees with varying skill levels Strong understanding of production efficiency, quality standards, and jobsite safety Respected leader who leads by example and isn't afraid to jump in and demonstrate the work Excellent communication and problem-solving skills This Role Is NOT A classroom-based training position A corporate learning and development role A desk job with limited floor involvement Why Join Connect Housing Blocks?
