PRIMARY FUNCTION
The Supervisor is dynamic and results‑oriented, leading and optimizing the daily activities of associates within the MH Products Manufacturing area ensuring safety, high quality, and efficient production. This role provides leadership by directing work activities, coordinating production schedules, resolving operational challenges, and ensuring departmental objectives are met. The supervisor possesses a strong leadership presence and a technical, process‑focused mindset. This role is responsible for driving efficiency, ensuring product quality, maintaining a safe work environment, and mentoring diverse teams to meet and exceed production goals.

: Production or Operations Associates
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Process & Production Oversight
  • Provide direct leadership and supervision for manufacturing area, ensuring production targets are met efficiently and safely.
  • Coordinate area activities to ensure production schedules and customer demand are met.
  • Proactively identify process bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement; design and implement effective and sustainable corrective actions.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, utilizing lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve quality.
  • Uphold and enforce all company safety protocols and quality assurance standards to ensure a safe workplace and superior product output.
  • Manage production scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation to align with operational goals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely production records and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Quality Control, Maintenance, and Engineering, to resolve any production-related challenges.
  • Assign work tasks and lead daily shift meetings to communicate production priorities, safety reminders, and operational expectations.
  • Ensure accurate completion of production documentation, reports, and system updates as required. Quality Assurance & Inspection
  • Oversee in-process and final inspections.
  • Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using appropriate tools.
  • Ensure complete and accurate Quality documentation. Training & Leadership
  • Develop, mentor, and lead the production team, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages skill development and employee engagement.
  • Participates in the hiring of new associates and leads the on shift onboarding process to support a successful transition to the team.
  • Oversee the training and mentoring of new and existing associates on production equipment, safety protocols, quality standards, and inspection techniques.
  • Reinforce accountability and address attendance (reliability), performance, safety, and teamwork concerns.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture of safety, quality, and efficiency across the team.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional departments to resolve issues and maintain operational workflow to meet or exceed production expectations.
  • Builds a one-team approach across production areas and maintenance support.
  • Ensures accurate and timely completion of timekeeping responsibilities for their team and coordinates coverage as needed for planned time off that could impact the success of the team.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
  • Associate s degree or technical training, or equivalent demonstrated proficiency through experience.
  • Construction background a plus.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of manufacturing experience, with proven background in quality control and equipment operation.
  • Prior leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience are strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents, blueprints, schematics, and SOPs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP or manufacturing systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead teams, influence behavior, manage conflict, and drive accountability and efficiency.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • This position supports a standard 4-day production schedule.
  • Must wear appropriate PPE and comply with all safety and regulatory requirements.
