Job Description
Production ManagerRoofX | Residential Roofing | Leesburg, OH RoofX is growing, and we are looking for a Production Manager to lead our roofing production team. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can manage people, projects, schedules, quality, and communication from the office to the field. The right person will be organized, steady under pressure, strong with follow-through, and comfortable leading both office team members and field crews. We need a leader who can keep jobs moving, solve problems, support the team, and help create a better experience for our customers. What You'll Do Lead, coach, and support the Production Department Oversee roofing projects from approved handoff through completion Coordinate schedules, labor, materials, subcontractors, and jobsite needs Communicate clearly with Sales, Administration, Site Supervisors, crews, vendors, and customers Inspect active and completed jobs for quality and safety Help resolve customer concerns, callbacks, repairs, and punch-list items Monitor job costs, labor hours, material usage, and project profitability Support training, accountability, and process improvement within the department Make sure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and to RoofX standards What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will have: Roofing or construction experience preferred Experience leading field teams, crews, subcontractors, or production operations Strong communication and people leadership skills Ability to manage both office responsibilities and field execution Good organization, scheduling, and problem-solving skills Comfort using email, CRM systems, spreadsheets, and job management tools A safety-first mindset Valid driver's license Ability to visit job sites as needed The Right Fit You may be a good fit if you are: Hands-on, but also able to think ahead Comfortable holding people accountable Calm when problems come up Strong with communication and follow-through Process-minded without overcomplicating things Focused on teamwork, customer service, quality, and results Why Join RoofX?
