3rd SHIFT 8:00pm - 6:30am Valtir is hiring 3 rd shift Supervisor to support our Lima, OH manufacturing facility by overseeing processing activities in Galvanizing, Fabrication and Welding and supporting respective daily operations. Job Duties Include, but not limited to: Responsible for all processes in Galvanizing, Fabrication & Welding departments Direct employees in meeting quality and on-time delivery requirements, address production challenges, and communicate issues to relevant managers Monitor team productivity and provide performance evaluations, constructive feedback, mentorship, and disciplinary action when necessary Must meet all required expectation of Safety, Quality and Production Meet and exceed organizational goals through optimal utilization of personnel and resources Understand the galvanizing and fabrication process and use knowledge to achieve optimal operating efficiency Serve as a medium of communication between employees and upper management Motivate employees by resolving issues and making sound decisions Complete all required paperwork and inspections Other duties as assigned

Working Environment:

Conditions can be hot, cold, dirty, and noisy. The job is within a fast paced, heavy industrial environment and you may be required to work within various areas of the plant. Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be adhered to at all times. This includes safety wear such as hearing and eye protection, protective clothing and steel-toed shoes. Attendance and showing up to work on time are important to the success of the plant. Dependable job attendance is expected.

Qualifications:

At least 3 years experience in manufacturing processes and procedures Minimum of 3 years of management experience preferred Must be able to identify and solve complex problems using advance technical knowledge and creativity. Knowledge of safety and quality policies/procedures Strong ability to motivate team members Ability to perform all essential functions safely and efficiently including operating forklifts and cranes Ability to function as a team member and establish and maintain effective working relationships Computer literacy
