Job Description:
Akkodis is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor - 2nd Shift for a Direct Hire opportunity with a leading aerospace manufacturing company in Cincinnati, OH. Salary Range:
$80k /annum - $95k/annum +benefits (The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. )

What You'll Be Doing As the 2nd Shift Manufacturing Supervisor, you'll be responsible for driving daily production activities while creating a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence. Core Responsibilities ? Lead and coordinate all 2nd shift machining operations ? Supervise Team Leads, Set-Up Technicians, Machinists, Operators, and support personnel ? Drive achievement of production, quality, safety, and efficiency goals ? Monitor manufacturing processes and equipment performance ? Ensure accurate production reporting and ERP system utilization ? Prioritize workloads and allocate resources effectively across the shift ? Partner with leadership to improve productivity and operational performance ? Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and product development activities ???? Leadership Expectations ? Coach, mentor, and develop manufacturing employees ? Foster a positive, collaborative, and performance-driven work environment ? Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback ? Address employee concerns while promoting accountability and engagement ? Lead troubleshooting efforts and implement sustainable solutions ? Champion continuous improvement initiatives across the department ???? Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will have:
  • Extensive hands-on CNC machining experience
  • Strong shop-floor leadership presence
  • Experience managing teams of 15+ employees
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • A passion for developing people and improving processes
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment ?
??? Required Qualifications ? CNC Machining Certificate OR 7+ years of machining/manufacturing experience ? 7+ years of manufacturing leadership experience ? Proven experience supervising 15 or more direct reports ? Strong knowledge of machining operations and manufacturing processes ? Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications ? Excellent communication and team leadership skills ? Ability to adapt and perform effectively in changing production environments ? Preferred Qualifications ? Associate Degree in a related field ? Aerospace manufacturing experience ? Experience with ADP Workforce Now ? Knowledge of AS9100 and NADCAP quality standards ? Continuous Improvement or Lean Manufacturing experience ??
