Job Description
ROLE OBJECTIVE
Lead and supervise a test engineering team responsible for the architecture, development, implementation, and sustainment of production final test systems and the Quality Information System (QIS) platform. This role is the system owner for software testing, API services, and database interaction, ensuring alignment with Test Requirement Documents. This role also partners closely with Design, Quality, and Operations teams to drive NPI readiness, root cause investigations, production stability, data integrity, and continuous improvement across all test and calibration processes.
GENERAL FUNCTIONS/SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide daily leadership and coaching to test engineers, process engineers, and PCBA support personnel. 4. Conduct performance reviews, set development goals, and support the professional growth of team members. 5. Develop and implement technical training to improve procedural discipline and cross-functional depth. 6. Prioritize and allocate engineering resources across NPI, sustaining, and production support programs. 7. Lead the architecture and implementation of automated test systems for RF, DC, and functional testing. 8. Oversee test software architecture and development, including production floor applications, API services, and database systems. 9. Lead integration of test frameworks based on structured architectural patterns. 10. Define and track KPIs using tools such as Power BI for real-time test analytics and yield monitoring. 11. Lead test optimization efforts, including DFT reviews, coverage validation, and root cause analysis. 12. Ensure cybersecurity compliance across all software and data assets related to test systems. 13. Own final code merge and release readiness decisions
REQUIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/COMPETENCIES
(Applicant must meet all to be considered):
Bachelors degree in Electrical/Electronic/Software Engineering Technology or equivalent
5+ years of experience with software development or test-automation engineering.
Demonstrated technical leadership and system ownership experience
Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and delegate effectively.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in production environments
Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
Expert-level experience developing and supporting test systems using:
C# (WinForms) for shop-floor applications
Python (FastAPI or similar) for service/API development
Strong understanding of test system architecture, including:
separation of UI, API, and database layers
controlled data flow and validation
traceability and audit-defensible data practices
Excellent communication, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration skills
DESIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/COMPETENCIES

Experience with RF test systems and manufacturing environments
Familiarity with
ISO 9001 / ISO
17025 or similar compliance frameworks
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
Experience with Power BI or data analytics platforms
Knowledge of test automation frameworks and instrumentation control
Solid understanding of component level debugging of RF circuits, cable repairs, and test fixture design
