Job Description

Position Summary We're looking for a hands-on leader to join our team as the 2nd Shift CNC Lead . In this role, you'll help guide and support the 2nd shift crew while also working right alongside them on the floor. You'll play a key role in keeping production running smoothly, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, and making sure everyone has what they need to succeed. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys both leading a team and being directly involved in machining and production. What You'll Do Lead daily 2nd shift operations to keep schedules on track while maintaining safety and quality. Jump in on production work, including CNC operation, setups, changeovers, and troubleshooting. Support teammates by helping with setups, changeovers, and resolving machine issues. Keep an eye on in-process inspections to make sure products meet customer expectations. Record shift activity, note any challenges or improvements, and share updates with management. Promote a safe, clean, and organized work environment for the entire team. Suggest and help put into place improvements that make processes safer, faster, or more efficient. Act as the go-to connection between your shift, other shifts, and management to keep communication flowing. Qualifications Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting is a plus. Knowledge of CNC machining, production processes, quality standards, and safety practices. Someone who enjoys leading, motivating, and teaching others. A problem-solver who can think on their feet and stay organized. Clear and confident communication skills, both spoken and written. Flexibility to adjust schedule or work overtime if production requires it. We're committed to building a team of hands-on problem solvers who are eager to grow, contribute, and make a difference. If this sounds like you, we'd love to connect and share more about the opportunity.
