Job Description
Production Supervisor- 2nd
Shift General Description:
In this role, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: Supervise, lead and train members of press or assembly teams. Plan, assign, and direct workflow. Monitor total output, quality and compliance with 6S practices. Analyze and interpret production and scrap records and work consistently to improve these measures. Follow defined processes and maintain compliance with ISO/TS standards and maintain accurate records and documentation. Recommend & implement measures to motivate employees and to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, and efficiency. Assist the company in employee selection and team development. Track and enter employee hours, attendance and vacation time. Help train employees on specific knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform work and assist the company in identifying ongoing training and development initiatives to support the goals of the organization. Work with HR and other members of management team to resolve employee problems, complaints and grievances. Enforce company safety regulations and hold weekly safety talks and other employee meetings as necessary. Follow and consistently apply disciplinary and other company policiesPreferred Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of robotic assembly or hydraulic presses.(Preferred) Previous automotive manufacturing experience. (Preferred) Minimum 3 years' experience in a leadership position. Strong production/manufacturing background. Computer/System skills including Word, Excel, ERP, etc. Effective leadership, organizational, problem solving and time management skills. Excellent oral & written communication skills & the ability to read and interpret part inspection plans, schematics and workflow charts. High School Diploma. Strong knowledge of automotive stamping (Preferred)Job Location:
