Job Description

A highly experienced and detail-oriented Fabrication Manager responsible for overseeing shop operations, coordinating production schedules, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong organization, communication, and leadership across teams. Key Responsibilities Plan, organize, and manage daily fabrication shop operations to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity Develop and maintain production schedules, ensuring all projects meet deadlines and customer requirements Coordinate workflow between engineering, procurement, and production teams to keep jobs on track Monitor project timelines, identify potential delays, and proactively implement solutions to avoid disruptions Supervise fabrication staff, providing direction, training, and performance management Ensure quality control standards are met throughout all stages of fabrication Oversee material planning and inventory to support continuous production without shortages Maintain shop organization, cleanliness, and adherence to safety regulations Communicate project status, updates, and issues clearly with leadership and stakeholders Review drawings, specifications, and work orders to ensure accurate execution Continuously improve processes to optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall workflow Qualifications Extensive experience in fabrication, manufacturing, or shop management Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands Demonstrated success in keeping complex projects on schedule and meeting tight deadlines Excellent leadership and team management abilities Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset Proficiency with scheduling systems, production tracking tools, and Microsoft Office Knowledge of safety standards and fabrication best practices
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
