Lead Location:
Tulsa, OK Hours:
Monday-Thursday, 3:00 AM - 1:30
PM Overtime:
Typically 8 hours on Fridays and occasionally Saturdays; currently voluntary but subject to change
Pay:
$25 - $33 Job Requirements High School Diploma or GED required Previous leadership or supervisory experience required Experience with mold making required Experience with melting and pouring operations required Knowledge of finish room functions required Ability to quickly learn processes and step into a leadership role with minimal training Excellent communication and team leadership skills General knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes General knowledge of workplace safety rules and regulations Ability to work effectively with employees across multiple departments Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Corrected vision must be 20/20 Ability to work in extreme temperatures, around moving equipment, airborne particulates, and industrial manufacturing environments Ability to pass a drug screen and background check Responsibilities Perform and support daily foundry operations, including: Core Making Mold Making Mold Closing Sand Testing Melting Operations Pouring Operations Shakeout Processes Casting Cleaning and Finishing Form internal and external casting structures through core and mold preparation Prepare molten metal, adjust chemistry and temperature, and safely perform pouring operations Remove sand, gates, risers, fins, and other casting imperfections Inspect, repair, and finish castings to quality standards Provide daily support and assistance to the Foundry Supervisor Coordinate department workflow and production activities Lead and supervise team members in the absence of the Foundry Supervisor Assist with production planning and scheduling activities Communicate production schedules and updates to the planning department Promote a safe, efficient, and productive work environment Follow all company Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures Perform additional duties as assigned Preferred Qualifications Three or more years of experience in two or more of the following areas: Pattern Shop/Storage Core Making Mold Making Mold Closing Induction Melting Pouring Shakeout Abrasive Blasting Gating & Riser Removal Grinding Casting Inspection and Touch-Up One or more years of experience operating: Forklifts Overhead Cranes Front-End Loaders Physical Requirements Regular standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, talking, and hearing Occasional kneeling, crouching, and crawling Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Exposure to moving vehicles, overhead cranes, extreme temperatures, fumes, chemicals, and airborne particulates Moderate to high noise levels throughout the facility Required use of PPE, including hard hat, face mask, gloves, and steel-toed boots #INDT
