Job Description

The Production Supervisor leads operations with a strong focus on safety, integrity, quality, and employee development while ensuring production demands and order fulfillment goals are consistently met. This role partners closely with cross‑functional teams to address production challenges, drive continuous improvement, and implement cost‑saving initiatives. The supervisor develops shop‑floor talent through coaching, training, and effective delegation to ensure proper staffing and strong performance. They serve as a key point of contact for production and quality issues, fostering a safe, engaged, and inclusive work environment. Lead operations with a strong commitment to safety, integrity, and quality. Plan and execute production activities using both tactical and strategic approaches to meet operational demands, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement through daily cross-functional collaboration. Ensure departmental production targets and order fulfillment requirements are achieved and old team leaders accountable for order fulfillment Generate, promote, and execute improvements to our processes and cost in production through CI and Cost savings initiatives. Build and maintain a high-performing shop floor team by developing trust, understanding individual motivations, and coaching employees to improve performance. Foster a safe, engaged, and inclusive work environment by enforcing company policies, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, equipment standards, and 5S+ practices. Drive daily accountability by establishing, tracking, and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs), participate in tier meetings, and maintain visual management boards. Serve as the primary point of contact for production issues within the assigned functional area. Support talent management activities, including hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, performance management, and employee development. Assess workload requirements and delegate tasks effectively to ensure appropriate staffing levels and production coverage. Lead and support quality issue investigations and resolution by collaborating with Quality Control, reinforce quality standards, and review internal and market quality trends Approve and manage employee timecards in compliance with internal policies and external labor regulations Conduct pre-shipment supervisory inspections to verify that quality and specifications standards are met. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or High school diploma with minimum 7 years of supervisor experience within manufacturing or industrial environments Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing or operations experience Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Proficiency with Kanban/inventory control, Vista, AS400 or related order-management system. Experience working in
ISO 9001
environment. Experience working in an engineer to order environment with a high level of variability. Experience managing timecards in UKG, Kronos, or similar time tracking system. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and unexpected challenges. Ability to perform the essential functions of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to lift 35lbs.
