The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily production operations to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency targets are met. This role manages production staff, coordinates workflow, and supports the Plant Manager in implementing company policies, optimizing performance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities:
Production Management:
Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet schedule and quality standards. Monitor performance, ensure optimal equipment utilization, and adjust staffing as needed. Ensure adherence to production targets, waste reduction, and productivity KPIs.Leadership & Team Development:
Lead, train, and motivate team members to achieve operational excellence. Conduct regular team meetings to communicate expectations, safety updates, and improvement goals. Support employee development through coaching and performance feedback.Safety & Compliance:
Enforce safety policies and maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment. Conduct safety audits and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards. Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.Quality Control:
Ensure compliance with product specifications and quality procedures. Partner with the Quality Department to resolve issues and maintain consistent output quality.Continuous Improvement:
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime. Participate in Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or similar initiatives.Administrative Duties:
Maintain accurate production, labor, and performance records. Report key metrics and variances to the Plant Manager. Support scheduling, material management, and workforce planning.Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field (preferred). 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Working knowledge of lean principles, production scheduling, and safety regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.Work Environment:
Fast-paced manufacturing environment requiring attention to detail and multitasking. May involve exposure to noise, heat, and industrial machinery. Requires standing and walking for extended periods.Job Type:
