3rd Shift Supervisor Position Title 3rd Shift Supervisor Reports To Production Manager Exempt Status Hourly, Non-Exempt Direct Reports 3rd Shift Production Employees Position Summary The 3rd Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing nightly production operations to ensure efficient, safe, and timely manufacturing output during off-shift hours. This hands-on leadership role supports production employees, maintains operational standards, and serves as the primary point of leadership for the manufacturing floor during 3rd shift operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of approximately 5-10 employees during 3rd shift operations
• Oversee nightly production activities across the shop floor
• Maintain production flow and address operational issues as they arise
• Lead by example through active participation and hands-on support when needed
• Monitor productivity, quality, and safety throughout the shift
• Communicate production updates, issues, and priorities to the Production Manager and incoming shifts
• Handle employee attendance and disciplinary communication, and write-ups as needed
• Support employee training and reinforce company expectations and standards
• Utilize Global Shop Solutions (GSS) ERP system for production-related tasks and communication
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment Authority and Decision-Making The 3rd Shift Supervisor has authority to direct nightly workflow, assign work priorities, and address operational concerns.

This role is expected to communicate employee performance, attendance concerns, and disciplinary recommendations to the Production Manager and Human Resources Manager. Work Environment This position operates primarily within a manufacturing environment and requires regular movement throughout the production floor. The role requires hands-on involvement in production operations and the ability to work independently during off-shift hours. Schedule Monday - Thursday, 7:30 PM - 5:30
