Pennsylvania , Scranton Job Description Responsible for overall management, administration, employee supervision, and manufacturing operations on the production floor. Ensures responsiveness to customer specifications, maintains quality control, enforces safety guidelines, and ensures compliance with policies and operating parameters. Oversees one or multiple product lines or areas. Key Responsibilities Oversee production processes and execute plans to increase productivity while maintaining quality, efficient use of materials, machines, and human resources. Evaluate operating results to ensure shipments are timely and consistent with customer specifications, quality guidelines, and production schedules. Supervise production staff and ensure daily operations are efficient regarding costs, methods, quality, and safety. Assist with computer reporting of order write-ups and develop streamlined electronic methods of production recordkeeping. Interface with management to access, purchase, and/or repair production equipment. Coordinate and schedule work to maintain production timelines. Provide training for proper equipment use. Evaluate and discipline employees as necessary. Explain and enforce policies. Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment. Perform other similar or related duties as required. Required Qualifications High School diploma required; Associate degree preferred. Minimum of five years' experience in a manufacturing environment. At least two years of prior supervisory experience. Proficiency in computer software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Excellent verbal and written communication skills across diverse levels. Strong analytical, organizational, and motivational skills. Ability to work well with others. Ability to prioritize tasks and function effectively under pressure. Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
