Job Description

Collision Center Production Manager The Collision Center Production Manager plays a critical leadership role in driving operational excellence, team performance, and an exceptional customer experience. This position is responsible for overseeing daily production, ensuring high-quality repairs, maintaining efficient workflow, and supporting a culture focused on accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. The Production Manager reports directly to the Collision Center Manager and is a key contributor to the overall success of the department. Key Responsibilities Production Planning & Workflow Management Lead daily scheduling and production planning to maximize shop efficiency and throughput Assign work strategically across technicians and departments based on skill level and workload Partner with the Parts team to ensure timely availability of parts and minimize repair delays Monitor cycle times and proactively adjust workflow to meet production targets Quality Assurance Ensure all repairs meet or exceed company and manufacturer quality standards Conduct ongoing quality checks and provide coaching to body and paint technicians Promote a culture of pride in workmanship and attention to detail Cross-Department Coordination Collaborate closely with estimators, parts, and administrative teams to maintain a seamless repair process Ensure clear communication across departments to keep repairs on track and customers informed Problem Solving & Performance Management Quickly identify and resolve production issues, delays, or quality concerns Analyze shop performance metrics and implement improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency Maintain a strong focus on cycle time, touch time, and overall shop performance Leadership & Team Development Motivate, mentor, and develop both production and administrative teams Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment focused on accountability and results Drive a high level of customer satisfaction through team performance and service excellence Additional Responsibilities Support departmental goals related to sales, profitability, and customer retention Perform other duties as assigned to support overall Collision Center operations
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
